I'm launching an art tutorial site. For members it would be like Netflix - one monthly fee for access to all tuts. For artists creating tuts it would be like Patreon - every member that signs up results in an artist keeping 70% of the member's fees for the life of the member. Anyone interested?
I'm launching an art tutorial site ( and I'm looking for folks to create tutorials. I'm specifically looking for:

- drawing realistic animals (all mediums)
- comic art with Manga Studio
- comic art with Photoshop
- concept art
- digital painting
- realism with pencil or colored pencils

The income model is revenue sharing on two fronts: 1) the site is a membership site, with 20-25% free tuts and the rest for members. When you sign up a member, you keep 70% recurring for the life of the member; 2) Workshops - you can combine tuts into deeper workshop, with more materials or videos. For each sale, you keep 70%.

If anyone is interested, please contact me. I'm also happy to discuss things openly here if you have specific questions or concerns.

I'm looking for artists to create tutorials, but not paid on a traditional basis. The site signs up members and signups result in a revenue share with artists receiving 70%.

I had originally posted in Job Offers but it was removed without any notice, probably because it's not a traditional job offer (note to admins: times are changing). Is this the best forum to post in or is another more appropriate?
Hey DA,

There are a lot of online learning sites popping up and Skillshare is one - and they are pushing really, really hard to get artists (that's why the big prize in their current contest is a Cintiq). But they, and many of the others, have awful terms that result in (surprise) artists getting paid squat while they rake in the dough (here's a blog post with details:…)

As an artist, I've always loved process and tutorials as a way to improve my skills. I've built a site purely for art tutorials, with artists getting 70% of the membership revenue - which is recurring as well. If you're interested, you can learn more at:

I'm happy to discuss it openly here or on Twitter (@thisisarp). Being able to answer your concerns is important because I view the site as being by artists, for artists. I hate seeing artists being taken advantage of or ripped off. Thank you.

I'll post back here when I have something more than sketches.
